We are writing in response to developer Benny Marotta’s letter published Nov.  17, (“Hoping new council will be open to discussions on development).

You have finally revealed your true colours and you obviously do not really know former lord mayor Betty Disero.

Your rant and anger is totally misdirected. She was only one vote.

If you wish to speak to the lord mayor and council, get on the agenda and represent yourself, and your many numbered companies, at committee or council meetings.

Fair and open negotiation. Have you ever tried?

You have not been a benefit to Niagara-on-the-Lake, like you think you have. We would be glad to help you load the moving van.
