Dear editor:

I am very disappointed that the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake seems hellbent on pushing through a rainbow crosswalk and five rainbow benches, thus singling out a specific group for special treatment, which in my opinion is discriminatory toward other special interest groups that would be just as deserving.

I feel it is totally unnecessary, as the majority of people living here are already welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. And the cost, if the town is going to proceed with this, should not be funded by taxpayers.
