It's been a year now since COVID-19 entered our lives and changed … everything.

In those 12 months, we've endured good, bad and everything in between.

Looking back on life in the pandemic, The Lake Report would like to highlight and pay tribute to Niagara-on-the-Lake residents, organizations, companies, entrepreneurs and others who have helped make life a little better.

So, tell us: who are the pandemic heroes you know, have encountered or heard about?

It could be anyone — a front-line worker, essential service provider, a neighbour, a family member, a friend or even a stranger. Help us honour and recognize people who have helped contribute positively, in ways big and small.

Send us a note nominating them and outlining how they've made a positive impact during the pandemic. Include a photo (if you have one), and email and telephone contact information for them (and yourself).

Working together, we will endeavour to share the good news about our community heroes.
