Chateau des Charmes on York Road has been transformed into an opulent mansion set in the idyllic Napa Valley for the film shoot of a new drama series for the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

“The Kings of Napa” follows the power struggle among three wealthy King siblings, who are jostling to gain control of the successful family vineyard after the patriarch’s sudden departure from the company.

Filming begins on Monday, June 7, and continues until Friday, June 11.

In a note distributed to nearby residents, the production company stated there will be some traffic stoppages on York Road, under the supervision of Niagara Regional Police, adding the delays will last no more than three minutes. 

The series is set to air in early 2022.
