Dear editor:

The elections in NOTL are always interesting because they should remind councillors that it is the residents who elect them or throw them out of office and not the developers, tourists, the owners of commercial cottage rentals in residential area, merchants or the Chamber of Commerce, the Shaw or other lobby groups.

May the councilors remember this so that they might earn the right for another term: serve the residents well and we will love you and support you.
