The Niagara-on-the-Lake Soccer Club closed off the season with a bang at Centennial Sports Park on Saturday.

The sunny weather was welcome after a not-so-summery day for the season’s opening, said club president Carrie Plaskett.

Kicking off the 2025 closing festival was the Timbits players at 9:30 a.m., with the U11/U12 Caroline Cellars vs. Old Thyme Candy Shoppe teams playing the final game at 1 p.m.

Other age groups practiced and played at different time slots throughout the day.

The fields were filled with onlookers including parents, grandparents, family and friends.

Plaskett said that the end-of-year festival was a great time for everyone who attended.
