Dear editor:

Sanity has returned to NOTL, and visitors will be welcomed to enjoy the “historic significance” of our town once again.

At least for today, my faith in democracy has been restored.

Congratulations to our new lord mayor, and his excellent and dedicated colleagues on council.

One piece of caution to them: we the people have spoken, and we will hold them accountable for their actions outside our collective vision for our historic town.
