Dear editor:

Bravo to Yvonne Bredow for her April 16 opinion piece about racism she has encountered in Queenston and the Old Town, (“Racist attitudes a common occurrence). It’s disappointing to hear about such ignorance in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
It’s a vestige of the past that has no place in our community. Shame on any residents who harbour or allow it.
