What’s going on during March Break in 2026?

Niagara-on-the-Lake is offering a variety of activities for people of all ages during March Break from March 16 to 20.

Here’s a look at what’s happening in town this week:

Cake Café — The café will host two cake-decorating classes for children on Tuesday, March 17, and Thursday, March 19. Both classes begin at 1 p.m. Enrollment is $50. Email info@cakecafe.ca to sign up.

March Break Camp — Centennial Arena is running a March Break camp from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily from Monday to Friday. Campers will “enjoy daily themed activities, ice skating, crafts, outdoor play, and more.” The cost is $160 for residents. Before and after-care options are also available.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Library — The NOTL Public Library is hosting several activities throughout the week, including the Great NOTL Bakeoff on Tuesday morning, the NOTL Writers Circle on Wednesday, and Busy Builders and Junior Engineers on Friday.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum — Parents can bring their children to EarlyON programs Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The museum will also offer drop-in activities for kids Friday from 10 a.m. to noon, as well as a lecture by Dr. Emily Aubie called “The Science of a Good Village,” which focuses on winemaking.

Reptile Kingdom Show — The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum will also host the Reptile Kingdom Show on Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. Staff from Reptile Kingdom Canada in Thorold will showcase prehistoric reptiles that children can learn about and see up close.

Voices of Freedom — Visitors can take a self-guided walking tour through Niagara-on-the-Lake using the Voices of Freedom app to learn about Black history in the community. You can download the app at the link attached.
