Terry MacTaggart and Joyce Loewen were two of the six volunteers from Niagara-on-the-Lake’s walking group who spent hours picking up litter and trash for Earth Day.

Volunteers covered a stretch of Niagara Stone Road near the community centre, filling up multiple garbage bags.

The group has been doing the cleanup annually for around four years now, Loewen told The Lake Report.
