The Niagara-on-the-Lake Soccer Club is running a soccer camp from July 25 to 29, and there is still space for kids to sign up.

Former national team member John DiPasquale will be coaching the camp, which will be held at the Virgil fields in Centennial Park.

“We are very fortunate to have Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame member John DiPasquale return to run the soccer camp after not being able to offer the camp for the past two years,” club president Carrie Plaskett said.

“John has experience coaching at all different levels of soccer. He really focuses on building confidence in the younger players and helps them fall in love with the game.”

Plaskett also said both beginners and those who are experienced will benefit from attending the camp.

The camp consists of two age groups and the morning session is now full.

That 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. group is for ages 6-9, with birth years from 2013 to 2016.

The second group practises from noon to 2:30 p.m. and is for kids age 10 and up, born 2012 or earlier.

Registration for the camp can be found online at NOTLsoccer.ca. Cost is $100 per child.
