Dear editor:
Photo radar targets those who speed. Whether they are over the official limit or the herd limit, whether deliberate or distracted, they are the only drivers that pay the fine.
Some will pay because they know they are guilty, understanding that when one is distracted, sometimes one gets caught. That’s blind justice, and grumbling about it is OK. Others deliberately lay the blame elsewhere and cry “cash grab.”
Photo radar is only a cash grab to guilty crybabies and Doug Ford’s government, who are incensed that the municipalities have found a revenue stream that the province can’t control (skim?). Grumbling about it is OK; enacting provincial legislation to ban municipalities from using photo radar is not.
