Dear editor:

The shuttle bus to Fairview Mall from NOTL was cancelled when COVID hit, but there seems to be no push to resume operations. This makes no sense.

NRT OnDemand only goes as far as the Outlet Collection.

Surely NOTL has plenty of tax money from homeowners and builders of new hotels and condos to make a modest investment that will benefit everyone: seniors who do not or would rather not drive, the legions of shoppers who cannot find what they are looking for in town and those of us who choose not to own a car.

Also, can anyone disagree that keeping vehicles off the road is safer, healthier and more vital than ever?

How about a daily round trip from the NOTL Community Centre? The bus leaves at 10 a.m., and departs from Fairview at 2 or 3 p.m. There is plenty of room for tweaking.
