World-renowed pianist Victor Paukstelis will be in town this Sunday for a recital at St. Mark’s Church as part of Music Niagara’s summer concert series.
The concert, “Palette of Piano,” will be held on Aug. 4 at 4 p.m. at the church on 41 Byron St.
Paukstelis, a Lithuanian pianist who’s been performing for more than two decades, will treat classical music aficionados to his innovative interpretations of J. S. Bach’s English Suite No. 3 in G minor, op. 23, Robert Schumann’s Kinderszenen, op. 15 and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Sonata No. 2 in B flat minor, op. 36.
Tickets are $40 each plus tax, with online ticket sales to close 5 p.m. on Aug. 3. Rush tickets are also available the day of the concert at the door.
