A 33-year-old man from Ajax was pronounced dead in hospital Thursday morning after being struck by 2017 Dodge Caravan in St. Catharines.

The collision occurred around 5:45 a.m. on St. Paul St. West near Seventh St. Louth. 

The Dodge was driven by a 32-year-old St. Catharines male who did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the collision.

This incident remains under investigation by police and the Coroner's Office.
