A 26-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning after his 2008 Cadillac collided with a large tree in the front yard of a residence in St. Catharines.

Police say the incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Glenridge Ave. near Wychwood Rd.

The driver was flown to an out-of-region hospital in critical condition.
