We at The Lake ReportĀ are happy to announce the publication of our special Winter Edition magazine which will be available Dec. 3.

Read about the finest ways to celebrate the winter season in NOTL: A Guide for Distinguished Explorers.

Learn more about a few of the townā€™s choice restaurants and why The Lake Report deemed them five-star locations. Each eatery offers its own unique dining experience and ambiance.

Lace up those skates and head to the skating rink near Fort George National Historic Site, which features a warming ambiance, special events and open skating times from December until March.

The Meridian Credit Union Arena is another hotspot for open skating times.

And you canā€™t forget the Wayne Gretzky Estate Wineryā€™s signature outdoor rink and whiskey bar.

Follow along on a self-guided walking tour, exploring the hidden stories of NOTLā€™s interesting history and oldest buildings with the guidance of Niagaraā€™s History Unveiled columnist Denise Ascenzo. The history unveiled contributions are a staple segment in each weekā€™s issue of The Lake Report since its inception.

NOTLā€™s resident Santa Claus and contributing writer Tim Taylor imparts holiday wisdom and advice with a ā€œnice-to-doā€ list of local activities and events.

And donā€™t forget about the Candlelight Stroll and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Christmas Parade ā€“ holiday must-sees which take place each year in the core of Old Town.

As nights draw longer and days grow colder the holiday spirit in Niagara-on-the-Lake is just ramping up ā€“ pick up a copy of our special edition so you wonā€™t miss out on any of the action.

Because the magazine is focused on visitors, copies will be distributed to hotels, B&Bs and numerous businesses around town.
