The Lion’s Club Christmas tree sale begins today at Cornerstone Community Church in Virgil.

Trees were delivered on Saturday, and with the help of the NOTL Midget Niagara Lions Club BB team; coaches, players and young community member helped set up for the sale.

During set up on the weekend, the Lions Club presented a $1,000 cheque to the team for their sponsorship.

Trees will be sold weekdays from 12 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with all proceeds going back into the community.
