Niagara Regional Police had been investigating the man for involvement in suspected drug sales and a result of the investigation, police arrested 43-year-old Adrian Selman on Thursday at around 1 p.m.

Police searched Selman’ males vehicles, residence and a storage unit linked to him and seized approximately $25,000 in alleged drug proceeds, an assault-style rifle with magazines, and a handgun magazine equipped to hold 15 bullets — making it a prohibited device.

Selman is charged with possession of proceeds of crime of more than $5,000, possession of a schedule one substance, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a firearm (non-restricted), and careless storage of a firearm.
