Horoscope: Get ready for the dawning of a new age of Aquarius

Thursday, Jan. 19: The moon begins the day in adventurous Sagittarius but then moves on to sombre Capricorn. Show some self-control and harvest some rewards. It was Jan. 19, 2013, that Lance Armstrong admitted to doping in all seven of his Tour de France victories.

Friday, Jan. 20: With seven lunar connections today, the big news is the movement of the sun from Capricorn into Aquarius at 3:29 this morning. Yes, it’s the dawning of the Age for 2023. This is a very special Aquarius season for everyone. For the first time in years, Saturn in Aquarius is no longer square Uranus. It’s time to finally enjoy the beautiful Aquarius season. Happy birthday number 67 to satirist Bill Maher.

Saturday, Jan. 20: Today we have an auspicious new moon at one degree of Aquarius. The new moon is a true new “Aquarius” beginning. Conjunct Pluto, the new moon is a preview of the upcoming 20-year-long Pluto in Aquarius transit. Sextile Jupiter and trine Mars, the new moon will bring opportunities to pursue our dreams together with like-minded people who “get” us. Today, arguably, the greatest golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus, turns 83.

Sunday, Jan. 22: While Uranus in Taurus has been retrograde for some time, today the gaseous giant turns direct and remains that way until August 2023. It’s prime time to pursue long-term goals. History repeats itself. It was Jan. 22, 1973, that the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Roe versus Wade, legalizing most abortions.

Monday, Jan. 23: Today, Uranus goes direct. This is the first time in years that when Uranus goes direct and it’s not within a square orb with Saturn. We now have the sun, the moon, Venus and Saturn in Aquarius, and when Uranus (Aquarius’ ruler) goes direct, there is a tremendous forward momentum connected to the Aquarius area of your chart. Things that have been stuck for years are finally starting to move again. Happy birthday number 72 to Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, hero of the landing on the Hudson River.

Tuesday, Jan. 24: With the sun in Aquarius and Jupiter in Aries, it is time to go big. Happy birthday number 82 to Neil Diamond of “Sweet Caroline” fame.

Wednesday, Jan. 25: As the moon moves into Aries, she touches on Jupiter and opens a door to a better tomorrow. Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky turns 45 today.
