Letter: Let’s measure councillors’ success by their achieved goals
Letter to the editor. FILE

Dear editor:

Happy to learn that Councillor Mavridis is pleased with her performance (“Mavridis will seek re-election for 2026 term,” Aug. 6).

The assessment of one’s performance becomes more credible when weighed by third party. To state the obvious.

In Business 101, an individual is asked to set precise, measurable goals with a definite time line for himself. The actual results can be measured and the performance evaluated.

Why can’t our politicians do the same thing? This is not nuclear surgery.

Nice, clear, well-written article, by the way.
