Back on the course: NOTL Chamber revives annual golf tournament
The tournament will take place June 18 at the Royal Niagara Golf Club in Glendale, drawing chamber members, local businesses and community leaders FILE/DAVE VAN DE LAAR

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce is bringing back one of its signature events this summer, with its annual golf tournament set to return after a hiatus.

The tournament will take place June 18 at the Royal Niagara Golf Club in Glendale, drawing chamber members, local businesses and community leaders for a day focused on networking and community engagement.

Organizers say the event is designed to help strengthen business relationships while supporting local initiatives in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

“We are thrilled to bring back this signature event,” said chamber CEO Kathy Weiss. “It’s a fantastic way to reconnect the business community while enjoying a memorable day on the course.”

Registration opens at 8 a.m., with a 9 a.m. shotgun start in scramble format. A lunch buffet will follow at 3 p.m.

Golfers can register individually or as part of a foursome, with fees set at $275 per player or $1,100 per team. Participants without a full team are encouraged to contact organizers to be matched with other players.

The event includes morning coffee and tea, a gourmet lunch, a drink ticket and a golfer gift, along with on-course activities.

Prizes will be awarded for hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin in both men’s and women’s categories. A 50/50 draw and silent auction are also planned.

The chamber says the tournament offers a chance for the local business community to reconnect in a relaxed setting while celebrating the return of a long-standing event.
