Niagara Falls residence hit by shotgun blast

Police believe a residence in Niagara Falls was "targeted" after a shotgun blast hit the house.

On Friday, at approximately 10 p.m., police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 2nd Ave. and Morrison St.  

Police say the home was hit with a blast from “what is consistent with a shotgun.”

The suspect (or suspects) fled the area prior to police arrival.

Nobody was injured.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111 ext. 9318.
