Rotary Club's 15th annual Ribfest moves out of the parking lot
Last years Annual Ribfest was held at Niagara Square for the last time following the mall being shut down.

The 15th Annual Ribfest of The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise and Niagara Parks will be held from June 14-16 at the Rapidsview Park.

The Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest in 2018 marked the fifth and last year of the fest being held at Niagara Square.

The Ribfest is held annually on Father’s Day weekend. The new location was announced by Scott Wright, Ribfest Co-Chair for the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise and Niagara Parks CEO David Adames.

Wright and Adames said they are both looking forward to this “unique opportunity to bring Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest and the prestigious location of Rapidsview Park together for the 15th annual family-friendly event.”

Rotary Ribfest runs from noon to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Parking and live entertainment are free all weekend. Admission is by donation, with 100 per cent of the proceeds raised from the event going back into supporting the community. To date, Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest has raised more than $450,000, which has been used to support community organizations and the important work they do.

All weekend long, guests will enjoy free live entertainment, as five world-class Ribbers serve up their mouth-watering barbecue fare to more than 20,000 hungry fans. Vendors will also be on site offering a wide variety of unique products, while guests take in the magnificence of Niagara Parks and the Falls Fireworks Series, on Friday and Saturday evening at 10 p.m.
