Soccer is in full swing this season through the Niagara-on-the-Lake Soccer Club ,with two locations, including Centennial Sports Park in Virgil and Veterans Memorial Park in Old Town.
Co-ordinator and coach with the club Joe Pagnotta said, “It’s amazing, it’s a breath of fresh air in a sense, to see all of these kids back.”
Pagnotta is pleased with the number of kids that are coming out, allowing the soccer club to get back to normal after the pandemic.
At the pitch this week, NOTL resident Tod Green said it was his son’s third year playing soccer for the club and that all of the coaches are very motivating and keep the kids active.
“They all look forward to scrimmages and having fun together,” said Green.
