NOTL hosts paddleboarding races for Ontario series

Paddleboarders were off to the races on Saturday, paddles breaking the water of the Niagara River in a quest to be the best.

The Niagara River Challenge paddleboard races were held in Niagara-on-the-Lake on June 22, the second race of the Ontario Sup Series schedule, hosted by NOTL’s Paddle Niagara.

In all, 39 paddlers took part in the event in 10 separate divisions.

NOTL was represented by Hazel Morris, who won a gold medal in the Women’s Novice Division and James Bradford-Andrew who raced in the Open Division but did not place.
