Will the real Santa Claus please stand up. Please stand up.

People sporting red suits and white beards were spotted all over Niagara-on-the-Lake posing as the very large man Sunday.

They traded in their winter boots for summer sneakers and hit the ground running to support the town’s new youth campus.

The Santas started at Simcoe Park and their five-kilometre run took them through the Commons and along the Niagara River Recreational Trail.

We hope the real Santa will be rested enough by Christmas Eve to complete his annual trek delivering presents to girls and boys worldwide.

Don’t miss photographer Dave Van de Laar’s images capturing all the fun.
