It may have been a dark and cold night, but thanks to the hundreds of flickering candles, the warmth of the giving season burned bright in downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The NOTL Chamber of Commerce’s annual Candlelight Stroll saw the organization raise $14,500 for Pink Pearl Canada, an organization supporting young women with cancer, raised through the purchase of a candle by the hundreds who showed up at Queen Street on Friday, Dec. 5.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank its community volunteers who helped sell candles, including the NOTL Ambassadors, students from Vineridge Academy and St. Michael’s, the musicians and performers who donated their talents to the stroll and the Town of NOTL for its support and collaboration.
