Anyone on Queen Street this past Sunday evening was definitely seeing the world through rose-coloured glasses.

Hundreds came out for the Shades of Rosé dinner party, hosted by the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce, an annual themed event celebrating the summer and rosé wines.

Guests came to the party outside the old Court House in Old Town, dressed in pink attire.

They got to enjoy either pre-ordered dinners or dinners they made for their tables, which they decorated themselves — some going above and beyond to showcase their rosy spirits.

From 6 to 11 p.m., they dined, enjoyed a variety of rosés and heard — and danced to — live music from George St. Kitts and his band.
