The Olde Angel Inn was the sight of fancy pooches strutting their stuff last Sunday, as part of the establishment’s first-ever dog show — which doubled as a high tea afternoon.

The event, officially tagged “A Pawsh Afternoon — A High-Tea Hound Affair,” held the afternoon of Sept. 15, featured a red carpet-style setting with contests, prizes, doggy bags and refreshments for owners and pets, who brought their dogs out, freshly-groomed and adorned with accessories.

Dogs were awarded in categories such as best dressed, best hair, best trick and a Mr. and Mrs. Congeniality (the best behaved, best mannered and prettiest-walking dogs).
