Two people suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday evening in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Four Mile Creek Road and Line 7 Road around 5:46 p.m. on May 13.
Police say a white 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck and a black 2020 Toyota Corolla collided in the intersection. The 51-year-old driver of the pickup, a Niagara-on-the-Lake woman, was not hurt.
The 49-year-old driver of the Corolla, a woman from Niagara Falls, and one passenger were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Two other passengers were taken to hospitals outside the region with serious injuries — one by Ornge air ambulance.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged and towed from the scene. The road was closed for several hours and reopened around 10:10 p.m.
