Ben Froese of Willow Lake Ventures Inc. on Line 6 in Niagara-on-the-Lake is the 2022 Grape King.

The Grape Growers of Ontario, marking their 75th anniversary this year, crowned Froese in a ceremony last week.

The Grape King is selected based on vineyard management and knowledge of the industry.

As king, Froese will serve as a representative for Ontario’s grape and wine industry at events across the country.
