UPDATED: Niagara-on-the-Lake all-candidates meeting 2018

UPDATE: The Queenston Residents' Association has moved its all-candidates meeting to Willowbank School of Restoration Arts (the former Laura Secord Public School) in Queenston.  The venue is wheelchair accessible and has on site parking, as well as road parking. The civic address is 5 Walnut St., but access will be from Queenston St. All other details remain the same.

Niagara Now, The Lake Report and the Queenston Residents’ Association are encouraging residents to keep their calendars clear this September 26 so they can attend an all-candidates meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The meeting, organized by the QRA, will give residents a chance to listen to and interact with the candidates seeking positions on town and regional council in the upcoming municipal election.

“The Queenston All Candidates Meeting has been held for many years and has long been considered one of the best opportunities to hear and interact with the candidates,” said QRA president Jim Armstrong.

“We are inviting candidates for Lord Mayor, Regional Council and Town Council only. We hope to see you there.”

The meeting will take place at Willowbank School of Restoration Arts in Queenston

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp. 

All are welcome to attend, though organizers warn space is limited.
