A Year in the Life of NOTL: In photographs, May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023

The Lake Report has launched an ambitious new feature for readers – A Year in the Life of Niagara-on-the-Lake – a 12-month odyssey that will document in photos, and a few words, life and times in our little town.

Starting May 1, a team of more than 10 photographers, plus our own staff, kicked off the project, taking pictures of a wide range of happenings in NOTL – from everyday activities and quirky vignettes to fascinating landscapes and newsworthy community-focused events.

Over the year, we aim to compile a huge online archive and then feature one photo from each day, all aimed at celebrating and reflecting life in NOTL.

Over the course of the next year, those pictures will be posted here periodically so that by May 1, 2023, an entire Year in the Life of NOTL will be available.

Watch for photos from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, coming Feb. 1
