CASON gets ‘seal of approval’

Community Addiction Services of Niagara (CASON) is now accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA).

“To be CCA Accredited is truly a seal of approval. With increasing pressure for public accountability, participation in the accreditation process promotes a quality and safety culture across the organization,” said Julia Sebastian, board president, in a press release.

“Our clients can be assured that the organization is highly credible as they entrust us to assist them in their journey.”

The accreditation ensures CASON meets CAA standards in operating responsibly and providing responsive and quality services.

“One of the key benefits of participating in CCA’s accreditation program is that it promotes an ongoing culture of learning and quality improvement throughout the organization,” said Barbara Wiktorowicz, executive director for Canadian Centre for Accreditation, in the release.

“By choosing to go through the CCA accreditation process, CASON is demonstrating its accountability to the community and its commitment to providing the highest quality programs and services.”

CASON offers addiction programs and services to individuals and families of all ages throughout the Niagara region.
