A single-vehicle rollover in Niagara Falls has left a 31-year-old Fort Erie man in critical condition.

Police said the incident occurred on Montrose Rd. near Koabel Rd. around 12:10 a.m. on Monday.

A 2014 Ford Fusion was being driven southbound on Montrose when the driver lost control and the vehicle entered the ditch and went through two fences before coming to rest on its roof in the yard of a private residence. 

Police said another motorist called 911.

The driver of the Ford was transported to a local hospital before being air lifted to an out-of-town hospital in critical condition.
