A Welland resident is facing fraud charges after allegedly defrauding the Niagara South Federation of Agriculture to the tune of $65,000.
Police said the investigation was launched in November of 2017 after the NFSA reported “financial irregularities.”
As a result, 37-year-old Amy Clattenberg was charged with alleged offences of fraud over $5,000 and falsification of books and documents.
The alleged fraud had been ongoing over a two-year period and police are concerned there may be other victims.
