A Port Colborne man is facing multiple alleged child pornography charges.
On Thursday, Niagara Regional Police arrested 40-year-old Jason Favaro after executing a search warrant at a residence in Port Colborne.
Police said they seized and forensically examined a number of computer systems and storage media.
As a result, Favaro was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography; one count of accessing child pornography; and one count of distributing child pornography.
The police investigation was launched in February.
Favaro attended a bail hearing Friday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
