Police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station in Niagara-on-the-Lake Thursday night.

The robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. at the Gales Gas Bar on York Road near Tanbark Road in St. Davids.

Police said a lone male entered the kiosk and demanded money from an employee before fleeing the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were seen.

A Niagara Regional Police Services K-9 unit searched the area, but the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as:

• About 5-feet-10 to 6 feet tall, slim build
• Wearing an orange “Reebok” hooded sweatshirt
• Brown full-face mask
• Blue jeans
• Dark-coloured running shoes
• Black gloves
• Dark baseball hat worn backward underneath his hood.
