Niagara Regional Police say they are investigating a sexual assault that occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police said the lone female victim was walking down a laneway in the area of Clifton Hill and Victoria Ave. in Niagara Falls when she was “accosted and sexually assaulted” by a group of five men. 

The victim did not receive life-threatening injuries and was treated at a Niagara hospital.

The suspects, who have not yet been identified, are described as follows:

Suspect one is describe as a Hispanic male with a medium build, around 25 to 30 years of age, and about five-foot-10, weighed approximately 200 pounds. The suspect had stubble on his face, a fair complexion and coarse short black hair. He was wearing fitted blue jeans, a white short-sleeved t-shirt with a logo resembling a horseshoe, red and tan coloured shoes and a gold chain necklace with a cross pendant. 

Suspect two is describe as a black male with an athletic build, around 25 to 30 years of age . He had a buzzed fade haircut and was wearing black jeans, a dark blue or black hoodie, grey shoes and a gold chain necklace. 

Suspect three is described as a black male with stocky build, 25 to 30 years of age, and about six-foot-two. He had a fade style haircut and was wearing a dark athletic style t-shirt and fitted grey jogging pants.

Suspect four is described as a black male with a stocky build, around 25 to 30-years-old and about six-foot-two. He was wearing a casual top, fitted pants and sneakers. 

Suspect five is described as a black male with a stocky build, 25 to 30 years of age, about six-foot-threel. He was wearing a snapback black and red “Raptors” ball cap, casual top, fitted pants and sneakers.
