The Niagara Nursery School has reached its $10,000 fundraising target for May, bringing it one step closer to the $100,000 target for a new expansion of the school.
With the help of the community and organizations like the NOTL Ukesters and the St. Davids Lions Club, the school raised $10,825, $10,000 of which will be matched by an anonymous donor. That brings the monthly total to $20,825.
“I am speechless, the community support has been so incredible,” said executive director Candice Penny.
“We are so fortunate to be part of such a caring and supportive community.”
In June, every dollar donated to the expansion project will allow the school to be entered to win $10,000 through the Great Canadian Giving Challenge by Canada Helps.
