Multiple people have phoned or emailed The Lake Report to nominate Upper Canada Lodge and its staff members, residents and family of residents, as NOTL pandemic heroes.

The long-term care facility was the only one in Niagara-on-the-Lake to avoid an outbreak of COVID-19 altogether. It was also one of few homes across Ontario to manage to avoid an outbreak.
