A man has been charged in connection with the robbery of a business in Niagara Falls.
Police say the business was targeted in December 2017, when suspects stole more than $14,000 with of property.
A suspect was identified with help from members of a police street crime unit and a forensic unit.
Police located and arrested a suspect Thursday, locating a quantity of drugs during the arrest and later executed a search warrant at the male's motel room, where officers found and seized evidence related to the thefts.
Charged with the alleged offences of theft over $5,000, theft under $5,000, three counts of possession of a schedule one substance and three counts of breach of probation is Brandon Donnelly of Niagara Falls.
Donnelly is set to appear at a bail hearing in St. Catharines.
Police say they anticipate further arrests in relation to this incident.
