A Welland man is facing several child pornography charges following a police investigation that started in November 2017.
Investigators were to a residence in Welland residence, where on Friday they executed a search warrant and seized a number of computer systems and storage media for forensic examination.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 41-year-old Jason Kimberley with two counts of possession of child pornography; one count of accessing child pornography; one count of making child pornography; one count of distributing child pornography; one count of attempting to commit an indictable offence; and one count of making available child pornography.
Kimberley is in police custody awaiting a bail hearing on Friday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse, in St. Catharines.
