A Niagara Falls man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
In December of 2017, police launched an investigation into the online sexual exploitation of children which led to a residence in Niagara Falls.
Police executed a search warrant at the residence on Thursday and seized and forensically examined a number of computer systems and storage media.
As a result, 27-year-old Nicholas Johnson of Niagara Falls was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography.
Johnson is in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
