Have a hoot practising your best owl calls at the Niagara Glen Nature Centre’s Owl Howl event this Friday.
On Nov. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m., participants of all ages are welcome to learn all about owls with the help of the Canadian Raptor Conservancy.
Guests can interact with live owls while learning about the nocturnal birds of prey, their predatory life and evolutionary behaviour. An expert from the conservancy will host an owl talk before inviting the group outside to practice their best owl calls.
Tickets are $7, or free for children aged five or younger for the two-hour experience, and on-site parking is free for participants.
