Niagara Falls is getting $358,604 for new bike lanes and other cycling infrastructure as part of the Ontario Municipal Commuter Cycling Program.
The city is one of 120 municipalities across Ontario that will receive funding from the province, with the government spending $93 million, more than doubled from the $42.5 million announced earlier this year.
The OMCC program is part of Ontario's Climate Change Action Plan and is funded by proceeds from the province's cap on pollution and carbon market.
