Police stumbled upong $60,000 worth of cocaine last week after arresting a man for something completely different.

Joshua Nuziato of Welland was arrested after police formulated grounds with the belief he was iin possession of “a quantity of drugs and currency.” 

On Feb. 20, police seized and searched Nuziato’s vehicle and found more than 600 grams of packaged cocaine and a large amount of money.

Nuziato was charged with the alleged offences of possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking; and possession of proceeds obtained by crime.
