5 things to do on New Years Eve in Niagara

Listen to live music and fireworks at the falls

Enjoy tunes from The Sheepdogs, Burton Cummings, Walk Off the Earth and Avenue Inn at Queen Victoria Park. Followed by the annual firework show being, which is launched off of the Niagara Gorge.

Indulge in some fine dining

Morton’s Grille in Niagara Falls is featuring two seating times, one from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the second from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Peller Estates is offering a five-course meal and a dancefloor, where you can get your groove on all night long. You can also have a very Canadian evening at Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery & Distillery, where there will be skating, dinner and whisky.

Have a laugh

Venture over to St. Catharines to have some food, a laugh and magic at Showtime Comedy and Entertainment. Rob Ross will be cracking jokes and making laughs at Yuk Yuk’s in Niagara Falls. The night also features Frank Spadone and Alex Pavone.

See a show

Back by popular demand, The Show Must Go On will be providing a night of entertainment with music by Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, Abba and more.

Just stay home

New Year’s Eve is always filled with pressure to go out and have fun. Just sit at home and sip a glass of wine and watch some Netflix. Invite some friends over to hang out, then there's no need to go outside in the cold. It will help with keeping spending low and the bank account happy.
