Niagara College has taken on three new global development projects in Latin America as part of the Pacific Alliance program. The goal is to improve socio-economic opportunities for people in their local communities in Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
The college will support local educational institutions in various sectors. Electricity and energy efficiency in Chile, environmental sustainability in Colombia, as well as industrial mechanics and industrial electrical-mechanics in Mexico.
The three-year contracts are funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada.
